Life Church is currently meeting at the Kansas Cerebral Palsy Ranch located just 1/2 mile east of Ohio on 50th Street as you head North out of Augusta. Service times are at 9 and 11a.m. on Sundays. Completion of our new facility at Ohio and 60th will completed by the end of the year.

Welcome to our website! My prayer is that you will find it both useful and informative. I hope by checking us out you can get an accurate impression of how the Spirit of God is moving in this church. It’s awesome to be a part of this.

Not long ago we made a collective decision that we would become the church that God wanted us to be. We were tired of being mediocre. We were tired of being stuck. We were tired of being a church with a lot of “potential.” Something had to change.

It’s been said, “You must become the change that you want to see.” What had to change was us. We kept waiting on God but He was waiting on us. We started seeking God in prayer and crying out for more. We realized that we had to put relationship with Him as the absolute first priority in our lives. I decided as a pastor not to let the “busy” work or mundane things get in the way of my time with God. All of a sudden, by letting nothing rival our time with Him, we were more productive than ever before!

Our youth group started getting more excited about God. They started coming to the front of the church, out of their pews (actually we have chairs now) to worship God! We followed their example! The whole atmosphere changed. We decided not to “hold back” in praise and worship. We would sing, clap, dance, and let the Gifts of the Spirit flow. We would challenge our people by “speaking the truth in love.” We would directly address the petty things that hold a church in a weak condition. We would increase our commitment, learn not to be offended, and make a determined effort to grow in Christ personally.

As God saw fit, our church has grown and flourished. We have purchased land on Ohio and 60th in Augusta where we will build a new facility which will double our current capacity. We are currently meeting at the Cerebral Palsey Ranch, which is located off 50th Sreet and Ohio. It is a wonderful site with all the land we could ever hope for. We anticipate breaking ground for our new facility soon. It is Christ who builds His church, but we realize, as members of His body we have to cooperate with his leading. I hope that this website gives you a feel for who we are. Life Church will never be about a building, or church “superstars.” At our church changed lives are our best advertisements.
