As the body of Christ, we must strategically reach a world that so desperately needs a Savior. At Life Church, we design outreach projects that are likely to attract the unchurched. The Easter Egg Hunt that we put together every year draws about one thousand people. Those who attend hear and see puppet and drama presentations designed to reach the hearts of the lost. They are invited to recieve Christ. Many donated prizes are awarded and then we send the children and parents out into the park to gather the 15 to 20 thousand eggs that our volunteers have filled with candy and scattered around the area.
Pool parties open to the public, free food, youth rallies, band concerts, business conferences, Vacation Bible School, fall Harvest Party, Augusta Community Caring Center suppport, low-cost, high-quality Prairie Land Food distribution, other events and programs are just a few of the ways we to attempt to touch lives with a relevant but potent Gospel message.
